CLX is back in 2024!
The weekend of August 10 and 11, 2024, the Cayuga Outrigger Canoe Club is proud to host the third annual Cayuga Lake Crossing. Launching from Taughannock Falls State Park in Trumansburg, New York, CLX 2024 is two days of paddling fun and racing on Cayuga Lake. Events include six-person outrigger canoe (OC6) races at several distances and a small craft race. This year, our small craft race will be open to surf skis as well as one-person and two-person outrigger canoes (OC1 and OC2).

OC6
Our OC6 races feature two courses at different distances: 12 miles (for Open and Women’s race) and 9 miles (for the Mixed race). All races are part of the 2024 ECORA OC6 Point Series.

Our small boat race is 9-mile course that crosses Cayuga Lake on twice. The race is part of the 2024 ECORA OC1 & OC2 Point Series. This year, we are including a surf ski category in addition to OC1 and OC2
