Our OC6 races are 12- and 9-miles and part of the 2024 ECORA (East Coast Outrigger Racing Association) Point Series

OC1 & OC2
Our small boat races include 9-mile and 6.5-mile races. The 9-mile race is part of the 2024 ECORA OC1 & OC2 Point Series. The 6.5-mile race is for paddlers who prefer a shorter distance but still want a taste of racing on the waters of Cayuga Lake!
OC6 races
CLX 2024 use two OC6 courses: a 12-mile course for open and women’s teams and a 9-mile course for mixed teams. Both courses present teams with a range of wind and water conditions on Cayuga Lake.
All races are part of the 2024 ECORA (East Coast Outrigger Racing Association) OC6 Point Series. Three races are scheduled: open, women’s, and mixed, with teams competing in different divisions based on boat and age. Teams from ECORA member clubs earn points based on their place and division.
All teams are welcome, however, and encouraged to compete for our awesome CLX awards!
Race Divisions are determined by:
- OC6 Open, OC6 Women, OC6 Mixed
- Age: Open and Masters* (40+)
- Boat: Spec (320+ lbs) and Unlimited (>320lbs)
* Teams are classified as Masters if all members are 40+
OC1 & OC2 races
Our small boat (OC1 and OC2) race uses a triangular course that allows paddlers/teams to choose between a longer, 9-mile race and a shorter, 6.5-mile race.
The 9-mile race is part of the 2024 ECORA (East Coast Outrigger Racing Association) OC1 & OC2 Point Series. Race categories are OC1 Men, OC1 Women, OC2 Men, OC2 Women, and OC2 Mixed. Paddlers/teams from ECORA member clubs earn points based on their place and age division.
Age Divisions:
- < 20 Youth
- 20-39 Open
- 40-49 Masters
- 50-59 Senior Masters
- 60-69 Golden Masters
- 70-79 Platinum Masters
** For OC2s, age division is determined by the youngest team member
All paddlers/teams are welcome, however, and encouraged to compete at either distance for our awesome CLX awards!
